Who did Winston's voices ?

For me, the narration by "young Winston" and "old Winston" add a lot to the movie. "young Winston" doesn't sound like Simon Ward, "old Winston" reminds me of Jack Hawkins, who has a small role in the film. There's no credit on IMDB: anybody know who it was ?

Just watched the DVD last night and there is a credit right at the end for "Winson's voice by Simon Ward". Jack Hawkins, of course, by this time had lost his voice to throat cancer and was always dubbed (usually by Charles Gray).

Ward's impersonation of Churchill for much of the narration was one of my few problems with the film - it's obviously him, and it sounds quite humorous, and inappropriately so. I much preferred the slight Churchill-esque intonations he gave his post-Boer voice, though.

It sounded like Ward did both Young and old Winston to me.
