Whatever happened to the DVD release?

Are there any news where the possible release of this film on DVD is concerned? I haven't been able to gather any information elsewhere and I am DESPERATE to get to see this movie; there's no way to get hold of it here in Europe right now. If anybody happens to know anything, PLEASE reply!

I have the tape if want to buy it from me, or if you want me to convert it to DVD. The tape plays very well.
