I never understood what was supposed to be so unattractive about Madeline in this movie. I guess it's just because the other characters kept saying she was.
shareI thought that was odd also. I think Madeline Kahn is easily more beautiful than Streisand. She's made to appear very frumpy here, and her character is unattractive, so I guess we'll just have to go with it.

Well, she was bossy, controlling, whiny, and talked down to "Steve". Her hair was stiff, and she wore ugly dresses. lol. I love Eunice! Her disgust cracks me up.
