Please write to Criterion for a release on Blu-ray.

The fans of this masterpiece should write to The Criterion Collection for a release on Blu-ray. The transfer on the 2001 release was mediocre. This would look stunning in HD ! It's one of Bergman's best looking movies (the DOP won an Oscar for in work in this).

It's already been released in Blu Ray disc by Criterion and it looks terrific. I also reccomend you buying Bergman's Autumn Sonata, also released by The Criterion Collection guys.
