I wanted to like it. The actors were capable (especially Eileen Heckart) and the setting was ripe for a good suspenseful affair, but at every turn the writing and directing sabotaged the movie.
What is with the high rating? Bunch of Elizabeth Montgomery fans? I was sad to see her give such a mediocre performance. At least it appeared that way in the slipshod editing of this travesty.
I'm a sucker for it. It has got the right atmosphere. You're right, though; I'm crazy for Liz.
shareI agree, this wasn't that good. Montgomery was pretty good, but she has been better in other things. AND the writing is lazy and terrible. I mean, come on, it was the husband? That's like your first guess! Even though the running time is fairly brief, there's so little story here that even 73 minutes seems excessive.
