No Shame claims 92 minutes... Arrow claims 96 minutes...??

I just ordered the original No Shame DVD, which claims the film runs 92 minutes.

I noticed the recent Arrow DVD claims 96 minutes.

Is one of those approximate running times wrong?? The "No Shame" series has released many Sergio Martino films, and since it is an Italian company, I seriously doubt they would issue a shorter version of his films.

Anyone have any info?? Someone with the recent Arrow release, please let me know how long the film actually runs...

The Arrow Blu-ray runs exactly 96:43. Just watched it the other day. I don't have the NoShame DVD, so can't address that.

OK, thanx. I'm hoping that the No Shame DVD stated running time is wrong, and that it runs the full 96+ minutes... will have to wait til it arrives...

The DVD will run at shorter running time because of something called "Pal Speedup" affecting DVD's in Region 2 and Region 4 as explained here :

So it's most likely the same film, just playing at different frame rates. Blu-ray is not affected by speedup in different regions like DVD.

You're not only wrong. You're wrong at the top of your voice.

I was wondering about this same thing, so here is a good link for anyone who is also interested.
