DVD?

I don't suppose there is a great demand for it, but I've been looking out for the DVD of "Trafic" since I first bought a player. I hope others interested will also pipe in for a vote!

In Germany is an arthouse - Kinowelt version as DVD released at 6. Juli 2004.
It is a PAL version, with regioncode 2. As an US citizen you would need a multiplayer or a pc with a DVD-player and a software 'against' regioncodes (terms?).
It has the original language = French and the German language. It has also a German subtitle possibility. So the movie is n each way an interesting mix of languages... and the plot is, how to explain, 'obvious'? => for me it is great!

To find here.

In the case someone wants to order it, I could help with the translation, step by step pics... => p.m. whenever you want to

According to a DVD-collector site it was also released in Japan as DVD, have not found a source so for, amazon japan has it not listed amd at other sites there is usuall no english helper => i can not read Japanese. No DVD found at amazon France, only as VHS.

Australia, who often also has seldom releases, seems also not to have listed it (searched at the 7 biggestes online companies of Australia for it).

In the hope this may have helped.

I loved this film, and I want to show it to my grandchildren, but I would need English sub-titles. Any helpful information about its availability would be greatly appreciated.

It is rumored to be an upcoming Criterion release, perhaps 2008!

I hope so. So far I've only seen Holiday, Mon Oncle, and Play Time. I'd like to see more, these films are treasures.
