Terror at Red Wolf Inn on DVD

Yes, it is on DVD. It's part of one of those discount 50 packs of scifi/ horror movies. It's called Nightmare Worlds. I discovered it because of another movie, Prisoners of the Lost Universe. Somebody in that messageboard mentioned that that particular movie was on here. So I went to amazon.com to check it out and see what the others films were. To my delight Terror at Red Wolf Inn was among the others included. I believe it's still the edited version but as far as I know, this is the first legit DVD release of it.

Saw it on DVD through Alpha Video on 1/29/2008 with "House Of The Libing Dead"

The "Nightmare Worlds" box set is fairly useful, there's a LOT of material on there (including HOUSE OF THE LIVING DEAD) but the print of RED WOLF IN is severely edited. I can't speak for the versions on the double DVD but it kind of has to make you think when both movies are featured on the same releases.

They are also hardly "legit" unless you are referring to the media type, i.e. coldpressed DVD instead of a DVD-R type disc. That doesn't make them legitimate though, and by the price of both you can sort of tell that nobody paid any royalties or had to invest in a source print beyond an old VHS. More than likely the 2nd company ripped off the first, so if you are hard up for a version of the movie to watch get the "Nightmare Worlds" box since you'll at least get a bunch of other stuff to go with it, including HOUSE OF THE LIVING DEAD.
