There is a quick nature scene where a bee and tarantula fight in an aquarium. It may be one of the greatest Italian Murder/Mysteries ever made. It is definately worth watching.

Well, albeit the films merits as a typical "giallo", I wouldn't recommend it to somebody with arachnophobia because there's a scene where somebody tries to kill or at least scare (it's not quite clear) Giancarlo Giannini by putting a huge, black, hairy and extremely hideous looking spider onto his collar. Fortunately, this attempt doesn't succeed but even though I don't consider myself to be genuinely arachnophobic, this scene made me cringe...

Even though this film has a brief scene with a tarantula and a wasp, the insects primarily serve as metaphors for villainy and victimization.
