german shepherd

A German shepherd will never turn on its owner like that, even if hungry like that I very much doubt, they are faithful loyal dogs.

faithful loyal dogs

No such thing

You're talking out of your arse, you obviously know nothing about certain breeds of dogs. Try owning a German shepherd for years and you might learn something.

I tend to agree. Whippets for instance are exceptionally loyal to their owners, even though some are treated very much as possessions when used for racing. This unfortunately leads to quite a high level of abuse and neglect of the breed and often they have less human contact than dogs which are raised as family pets, yet attacks on any humans are unusual and on their owners practically unheard of.

Yorkshire terriers are also exceptionally loyal dogs and it isn't unusual for them to starve to death or die of stress related illnesses when separated from a long term owner.

reply

Which dogs are not loyal then?

reply

Try starving your German Shepherd for a few days (no, not really) and then see how loyal he is? Or maybe just suspend disbelief and go with it. It's a horror movie, not a documentary.

Anyone here mentions Hotel California dies before the first line clears his lips.

reply

Dogs are the least predatory predators.

reply

Okay, thanks for letting me know.

The overriding passion of a dog is to fill it`s belly, so even the most loyal animal will usually protect a bone, chew, or piece of food from their owners.

reply

I don't think people can say what animals think or feel for certain.

I would like the read the original story.
It does seem rather sadistic to put the dog through that abuse to get revenge on a human *beep*
Then again the elaborate trap they made for "Major Rogers" is quite a feat for a bunch of starving blind men!
Occupational therapy.
