You're talking out of your arse, you obviously know nothing about certain breeds of dogs. Try owning a German shepherd for years and you might learn something.
shareI tend to agree. Whippets for instance are exceptionally loyal to their owners, even though some are treated very much as possessions when used for racing. This unfortunately leads to quite a high level of abuse and neglect of the breed and often they have less human contact than dogs which are raised as family pets, yet attacks on any humans are unusual and on their owners practically unheard of.
Yorkshire terriers are also exceptionally loyal dogs and it isn't unusual for them to starve to death or die of stress related illnesses when separated from a long term owner.
