Collins House Decor

Not exactly frightening, but every time I watch the Joan Collins segment, I can't keep my eyes off the set. That house is a perfect time capsule of early 70s kitsch. Every item seems to have been purchased from a local department store groovy boutique. It makes the sad murder all the more poignant.

Watching now I agree with the decor exept the one thing that got my attention were the bare floor boards with a rug instead of carpets which is done a lot today as I have done myself recently brought the boards back to life, don't remember it being done a lot in the early seventies.

I loved her house! Really groovy. :)

And in a weird sort of way, it wouldn't exactly look out of place now!

The blood was a little too red.. I laughed when she scooped some up in the wine glass it would've quagulated aka hardened and stuck to the rug if it was meant to be a real life story..
