Why has this movie disappeared?

The last time I saw this film was about twenty years ago on late night television. I don't find any evidence that it was ever released on DVD or even VHS.

I already knew Ken Howard, but this was the film that introduced me to Bonnie Bedelia. I'm curious to know if anyone has heard any talk of a future DVD release for this film.

I welcome any comments.

I received an mailer today from Sinister Cinema and among the title available is The Strange Vengeance of Rosalie. It's paired as a double feature with Werewolf of Washington, on DVD or VHS, as "Drive-In Combo #126." The price is $19.95.
I've bought plenty from Sinister Cinema before; they're reliable people. You can call them at 541-773-6860. The site is: http://www.sinistercinema.com/
Good luck!

It' s been over 25 years since I saw it (definitely before "Heart Like A Wheel"), also on late night TV. I knew Bonnie Bedelia from "They Shoot Horses" and her TV guest spots and Ken Howard from "White Shadow", so I watched it. A very odd film. The one thing that stands out in my mind after all these years is her character's retort to Ken Howard's comments about her lack of cleanliness. It was something like, "I wash my face, hands and feet every day and all over once a week".

Has anyone checked out the Sinister Video DVD yet?

The Sinister DVD is an edited TV print running 102 minutes.
The film was released by Media in the 80's but I have not seen this version.
Alpha Blue briefly issued it on VHS and this was most likely a rip of the Media tape.
A Dutch VSH was put out containing the TV print distributed by Lorimar with Ditch Subs...ouch, wasted some good coin on that one!
There is also a Greek release which features a 90 min Italina dubbed print with GReek subtitles...this version contains Bonnie Bedelia's excised nude scenes, but look terible and is missing 18 minutes.
Anyone know of any other versions?
