OUTSSSSSSSSSSTANDIN G SSSSSTANLEY!

What a classsssssic movie! I loved this film. I watched this film one afternoon around my sisters house (she loves these old B-movies too!). C'mon everyone whats not to like? suspense! murder! and a really cool snake who could understand humans!. Whats not to like about it? OK so the dialogue might be a bit cheesy from time to time but hey, it was the seventies wasn't it, everything screwed up then? everyone was still spun out from the sixties!.
Anyway these films should not be derided but celebrated. Without classic films like this we wouldn't have the gore fests we have today!

Yeah baby! This film shows how snake flicks are supposed to be made - anyone seen the godawful Anaconda? Yes? Then you know what I'm saying! Too many of today's movie producers take themselves way too seriously and it shows in the crapola films they churn out. Stanley might have been unintentionally funny but that's what makes it good. Making a 'so bad, it's good' movie is an art form all in itself. I loved Stanley and recommend it to anyone with a half decent sense of humour and a love of Seventies cheesy films. Ssssstanley is ssssplendid!

This movie caught my attention immediately watching Chris Robinson walking around with rattlesnakes all over the floor and even good old Stanley around his neck like they were all made of rubber but they were all REAL. I think it took some cajones for him to do this movie. I still say CHEESY FILMS ARE THE BEST!

I really want to see this, as it is one of four movies that has been filmed at the Wild Life park that is four miles down the road from me!
