If you didnt like this then you're simple-minded and didnt understand it

Stick to Transformers movies. That is science-fiction better suited to your IQ.

I like smart, slow sci-fi. My favorite authors are Asimov, Ursula LeGuin, Octavia Butler, Phillip K Dick, and Aldous Huxley.

I found the film to be deeply flawed. It is better than MOST sci-fi, but ruining the message of the book is unforgivable. The story of the book is about how contact with aliens may be impossible, as theu could be beyond our realm of understanding.

The movie throws this out for a character study format in drama, and is often poorly paced.

Ironically, that's not a very smart thing to say. Can't you enjoy a movie without criticising those who didn't?

I liked Solyaris, but for you to use the Transformers thing is simple minded itself as it's the most cliche selection.

Cut it out. You're embarrassing other people who like Solaris. Or is this a deliberate false flag operation?

I happened to love this film but you're not being fair. To appreciate the film requires patience and the willingness to watch in an almost meditative state. Not everyone wants to make this effort. (which isn't really effort imo, but surrender)
