Beach Scene Filmed at Pismo Beach Ca.

Me and a friend of mine were extras in one scene in the movie,...I was just graduating high school and C. and I drove to Pismo in his jeep and were asked to be extras,...the best part of all that was meeting James Caan a very cool guy and Sally Kellerman,...hard to believe that was appx 33 yrs ago and Pismo has changed but alot of good memories from all the parties there. What a Long Strange Trip It's Been! Anyone else ever been to Pismo???? Or been an extra???

Yes behind Sally K.'s red caddy. I haven't even seen the movie since before the advent of vcr's,...so I just need to get the movie somewhere and slo-mo it thru that scene, seems to me tho' all of us in the background were out of focus..I'd have to see it again. Keep On Truckin'!

Lived there but a lot of this movie was also filmed in and near Fort Bragg.

What I found strange at those beach scenes is how many cars are driving around on the beach.

I think Pismo is the only beach in CA where it is legal to drive on.

--I would rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

I've been to piano beach, and have been an extra in a couple of movies. A great time at both. I was an extra in the movie Forever Young. The most fun I ever had working
