Yeah, great movie. I remember watching this on t.v. late at night when I was a kid. I found this on vhs and made my own copy on dvd.
I thought the best part was the jogging scene.

The dialogs between Caan and Kellerman are very good. I always laugh my ass off when I see the scene in the restaurant.
One of the best Caan lines is something like: "I'm thirty-two years old and I don't have yet a bank account."

Uusally when you're told an action comedy is mainly about the CHARACTERS, not car chases and shootouts, it turns out to be mainly about car chases and shootouts! This one really IS almost all about the characters. And that's why it works, and (to be cynical) that's probably why it's not too well-known. I keep comparing it to countless FAMOUS ones (including "Freebie and the Bean," from nearly the same year and with one of the same actors), and it almost makes me want to cry (it's a cinch they don't make me want to LAUGH). As someone here said, it's other peoples' loss.

Subtle nuances like the train guard telling Caan's Kanipsia to get his feet off the seat and the lotto scene in the camp is awesomely funny with great timing and was one of Caan's earliest efforts at comedy, brilliant script superb performances from all concerned and supasses 90% of the crap coming out on DVD every month. Surely the high calibre cast is reason alone for a DVD to be released?

Well the DVD is Out.

and it is a pretty cool flick.

Lol, is it really a surprise there is not much traffic on a board for a little known 1973 movie that probably didn't even make it to DVD in most regions?

I just saw it on TCM. I liked it. Much better than the Hackman/Pacino movie Scarecrow, that followed it. I lost interest in that after around 40 minutes.

Back to Slither, the revelation about the tuna fish sandwich was hilarious! I was also amused by the music that played whenever we see the sinister black vans. It's a fun, meandering movie and one that you truly don't know what is going to happen next
in it.

We're interested in when Frank here, kicked the bucket.
