So the DVD has no english subtitles..

so what. In Italy they sell thousands and thousands old italian movies without english subtitles, same as when in the Usa if one wants one can find thousands and thousands old movies in english, without italian subtitles.

just found out that it's out on dvd but without english subetitles what's the use?! :(

It is out on DVD but without ENGLISH SUBTITLES like so many other great Italian titles....WHY?

The recent release in Australia has english subtitles,i just picked it up the other day.

Why didn't they release the English language version over there? Then at least you would be able to hear Bette's own voice. Has that version vanished from the earth?
