I was not laughing at first, but when...

MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS

The battle of the Gods took place and JC fell into his seizure and the man in the ape suit wearing a tux busted through the window in JC's mind and turned the scene into a wrestling match... That my friends was the turning point for me. I could not hold my milk to say the least.

reply

Me too. I had forgotten aobut that scene the last time I watched. And I busted out laughing. I thought the film coouldn't be more absurd ...then here comes the gorilla.

reply

No doubt LOL! A gorilla in a tux, beating me up, would certainly cause me to stop believing I was J.C.

reply

Oh I laughed when Jack come in the wedding bedroom riding a tricycle....
THis was probably O'Tooles own idea?

reply

But "High Voltage Man" did nothing for you? ;)

Who was responsible for that guy anyhow, or did he seek out JC on his own? I may go back and watch that part tomorrow.

thanks

He was another of Dr. Herder's patients. You can glimpse him briefly when Gurney's uncle meets Herder early in the movie - they show his hands locked behind his back, an image they repeat when McKyle enters later in the movie.

I believe Herder was trying "shock treatment" - by confronting Jack with another man who thinks he's God, they hope to snap him out of his delusions.

"I've never seen anyone look so *beep* ugly with just one head!"
