Made in 1968 not 1972

I finally got to see this gem. I love Mario Bava and i LOVE films from the late 60's!!! This one I think he made after Diabolik. The film is considered one of his minor films but I liked it. It was actually quite funny and charming (except when the guy hits the girl...).

Mario had an eye for visuals. LOVE the clothes in this film, like Danielas set of minidresses and Pascales groovy curly 'do. Love love love them and the groovy clubs especially the gay one with the girls in the cage and the guy dancer and the female guitar band! LOVE IT!!!!! I like it when the girl watches the guy through red glass, genius!

It was apparently made in 1968 and was not released until 1972, too bad he had to wait so long.

That makes sense. The film has a much more 60s vibe than 70s. The world changed so fast in those days.

Yes, that's true. New trends coming on making everything just a few years old seem very unfashionable.
I love the whole vibe of this film and I must see it again soon.

I was just discussing something similar a few days ago. I mentioned to someone that I still have clothes from the 1990s I wear which have not gone out of fashion, and yet I would have looked a right plonker wearing 1970s clothes in 1995.

Yes, that's odd. I remember clothes from the 1970's were profoundly unfashionable in the 1980's. Maybe your clothes from the 1990's are classic and not outrageous in style?
