DVD...video...Farrow & Topol coming to my house to act it out again...I'd take any format! I love this movie.

I sure hope so. I have loved this movie for years. I have looked for it on AMC and have never come across it. It is also Named: The Public Eye which is the
title I saw it under. I love the music and Topol! After seeing this movie years ago, I have loved all of Topol's movies.

Hi,
I also saw this movie years ago and unfortunately never have had the chance to see it again. I have been waiting for a release on video or DVD for a long long time. Any idea where (which studio) we could write to ask for a release? Maybe if many of us write letters to ask for a release; it will be available for a new public to discover it. I wouldn't want this film to be totally forgotten. I believe that it's worth a try.
Thanks!

Universal owns the picture.

I just wrote to Universal Studios as they were the distributors of this movie and suggested to them a DVD release of the "Public Eye". Anyone who would like a release of this movie can try to send an email to their "contact us" link from their site www.universalstudios.com ("Enter our Universe" tab ) and suggest a release of this movie. Who knows, maybe we can make this happen. Good luck.

I'll do the same. Thanks for providing the info!

It is playing on the Sundance Channel, I just caught it for the first time yesterday and completely fell in love. It replays on the 8th and I know that I will being taping so I can watch it over and over.

Has anyone had any success with getting a dvd or video for this movie?
Please send me a message if you have.

I have long been hoping there is a release of the FOLLOW 1972 movie, but with no luck. Both the actress and actor were famous, and just don't know why there is no such release. After 35 years or so, I still very mucy miss the movie and the theme it was talking about!

I wonder whether Utube has the video or not?

reply

Hulu has it! You can access it through Imdb.
