Those Crazy Jews

I never saw the movie, but I did read the book. The characters all reminded me of the stereotypical crazy New York Jews you always see in sitcoms and movies. Are they all plumb nuts? The characters in the book sounded like they should be inmates in a laughing academy!!!

"--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, most all New York Jews ARE nuts in some way, especially those that grew up in immigrant households. Why do you think so many great comedians are Jews from New York? Think about it.

Think of the hilarious scene from Woody Allen's Sleeper where he's being mentally deprogrammed by the rebel underground, who forces him to relive "traumatic experiences" from his youth, Sunday dinner at his parents' house in Brooklyn."

Yeah they're nearly all f--king nuts but why are they so prominent in the Entertainment Industry? I mean they ALL have the same shtick:

Woody Allen, Paul Reiser, Jerry Seinfield, That crazy haired guy & the fat balding guy with glasses from the same show as Jerry, that Schwimmer fellow from Friends...why are they almost always a bunch of neurotic jewish guys from NYC?

"We're f-ing nuts but most importantly we're very f-ing smart business people.
Neurotic Jewish guys from NYC are funny. You mean you have never seen Curb Your Enthusiasm? It's the funniest show on TV."

Yeah...ALL true and all but they've beaten so MANY cliches' to death over the years I just can watch them anymore because they keep mining the same stuff over and over---and because of that that's probably why there are so few roles for 'minorities' that aren't broad cliches-cuz they don't know anything other than L.A. or Yonkers...CYE I don't get cuz I don't watch pay cable...although I have heard that Larry David is starting to lacerate the PC aspect of The Entertainment/Politics axis...

"Why do you use an apostrophe after cliches?

As for the following:

"what do want from me? I didn't write them.

My favorite Jewish comedians are Rodney Dangerfield. He never gets no respect. And of course Larry Fine and the Horowitz brothers, Moe, Shemp and Curly. AKA the Three Stooges.

Ah the Howard brothers RULE!

Why can't you wretched prey creatures understand that the Universe doesn't owe you anything!?
