Carole King song

I bought the 45 of Carole King's "Sweet Seasons" in 1972, and I've always loved the B-side, "Pocket Money." After listening to the song for years, it was not until finally seeing the film tonight that I realized they are singing "Chihuahua" in the chorus. The film is good, but the song is excellent.

The song is inappropriate for the film. It completely is out of sync with the type of characters that are in the film.

Yes, you're right: The song is way too melancholy for the film. They should have had Kris Kristofferson or Willie Nelson or someone do a more upbeat country or blues song instead. But I still love the song -- a lot more than the film, I must say.
