'Play it again Sam' game
If you're going to take advice - take it from the best
if you were Allan and you could chat all the time with the ghost of any of the classical actors and actresses, taking advice as he does, who would you choose??

I don't know about chatting with a "ghost of any of the classical actors and actresses," but I wouldn't mind receiving life advice from Diane Keaton.
shareprobably katharine hepburn. she'd be pretty funny & insightful, i think.
shareBette Davis- She'd be straight and to the point.
A dirty mind is a terrible thing to waste
well if i were allan id take advice from cary grant, he was so debonair and cool.. i myself would take advice from, who else, woody allen! he always seemed to be such a great humorist, and girls love humor... and anyway, he was a fantactic writer, he would always think of something to say....
shareCary Grant. He could tell you what to wear every day.

Probably Cagney, Bogart himself, or Rosalind Russell (His Girl Friday), who was hard-headed, soft hearted and one smart lady...
Laurance Oliver seemed to have things sussed. On the set of Marathon Man one day, Dustin Hoffman turned up, ready for a torture scene, looking like hell. Oliver was shocked:
OLIVIER: My God, Dustin! What happened to you? Are you ill?
HOFFMAN: I've been awake three days straight, preparing for this scene.
OLIVIER: My dear boy! Try acting instead! It's soooo much easier!
(BBC PYTHON VOICE: AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!)
In view of the fact that it's Valentine's day soon, 'Breaking News!' decided to celebrate "TomKat" (in response to three private emailers repeatedly demanding something on the gruesome-toothsome-twosome), by writing a pretty lyric to the tune of John Denver's classic, "Take Me Home, Country Roads," called,
KATIE HOLMES (TAKE TOM HOME)...
So brush down that old guitar, get yer hanky's out, and be reminded that TRUE love ain't dead. Erm, or is it? ;-)

'He not busy being born, is busy dying.' Bob Dylan.
Cary Grant...see "Touch of Pink" - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0374277/
sharePatrick Swayze. Because of such sage advice as "Pain don't hurt" from Road House and of course "Nobody puts Baby in a corner.
Just kidding! Seriously, Paul Newman must have some great advice. He's been married to the same woman forever,had/has a great movie career, not to mention his charity work.
Without a doubt, John Wayne.
sharei would pick Woody Allen. Even if his advice wasnt helpful, at least I got to chat with one of my heroes.
Everyone I implore you to check this film out http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0015532/

As I am a girl, I would take advice from Lauren Bacall. Nobody beats her.
