What a great movie

Some astounding performances by Pink Floyd with Echoes, Careful With that Eugene, and more. This is the reason I love PInk Floyd

The first time I ever saw this, I think I cried due to massive sleep deprivation and just the beauty of it. That sounds pathetic, but the whole thing is brilliant. I just got the DVD the other day and I think I'm going to go watch it.

I love when Roger is just beating the crap out of that gong. That was a really cool camera shot also.

If I ever see you in stairs, i'm going to push you for your lack of taste.

Ditto.

I'll cut that bitch into little pieces when I see it laying at the bottom of the stairs. The only plausible belief of your stated dispreference is to believe that you enjoy listening to rap or nu-metal. Their music entrances most other forms, including jazz, classical (and country, unfortunatley). Hence you stated that you were in jr high in '80, so that is highly unlikely. How can you not enjoy any of Dark Side? Or the rest of The Wall (at least the highlights like Run Like Hell or Hey You?).

Oh well, you loss is our gain.

I think he was attempting to be funny. I stress the word attempting.

yeah. that guys should eat some cubes, smoke a bowl, watch pompeii, and try to say that again. ahaha.

Pink Floyd is not a drug band.

Why do drugs? Because they work.

I think that "Another Brick in the Wall" is the most overrated of all of their songs. How can you only like that and not "Learning to Fly", "Hey You", or "Comfortably Numb"? I say these because they were less popular "hits" that were way better.

Believe it or not, the dvd has been running continuously on my pc for 6 days. Saucerfull of Secrets and Carefull with That Axe are incredible... supreme, especially Dave's singing with the hair over his face.

Did anyone watch the interview with the director when he said after he made the movie, producers were asking him to do Deep Purple in front of the Tahj Mahal or the Doobie Bros in front of Mount Rushmore. He said he wouldn't do it. This movie can only be made with Floyd and I'm glad he didn't make another.

Nearly all of Pink Floyd's albums are nearly flawless masterpieces. I'll die with that statement.
