Teacher should have minded her own business

They hired her to teach, so the kids wouldn't have to go into another town for school as required by law. She was hired to teach kids who never misbehave-- that is a dream job for most teachers! If she had just stuck to that, life would have been a dream.

Not seen this but, that would have made for a dull, quick movie. LOL

She was bound to find out sooner or later.

In fact, after she finds out, she'd have been an even better teacher.

She said in the beginning of the movie, she wasn't a "by the books" teacher.

I wish my own teachers were like her.

Don't be absurd. For a real teacher that IS her business. That "dream" job could well have been the death of Clement & Bethie if not for Melodye's insight.

No! She was working with children who had no joy and who were fearful; that's not any teacher's "dream job" by any definition! That's serious cause for concern and it was most definitely her job to attempt to address the larger problems of her students.
