Gandhi baked is good.
Bummer it got pushed back. Warner says they still have plans to release it, but not official date yet.
"That is the whitest white part of the eye I have ever seen; do you floss?"
Is it coming out in the US? This is one of my favorite films. A nice dvd with commentary from Rip would be most excellent. This film is one of he finest performances.
shareAmazon.com indicates the release date is January 8, 2008:

AWE-SOME...
shareIt appears that the Amazon.com link is for a different film with the same title. Am I misreading this?
shareThat's when the DVD is coming out!
"That is the whitest white part of the eye I have ever seen; do you floss?"
As the other post mentioned, I think it's a different film with the same name coming out on DVD.
shareWhy do you think it's not the same film?
shareI just pulled up DVD Planet and I guess it is the Rip Torn version since they have him on the cover. I would have thought I would have heard something more about the release. The DVD has 2nd audio commentary from the producer and director.
shareThere's a nice mention of the DVD in this week's Entertainment Weekly.
shareI just purchased the DVD for a mere seven bucks at a mom'n'pop retail outlet in Central New Jersey.
I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!
I just got it at Big Lots for $5!
This must've been in the works for a while, because Daryl Dukes, the director, died in '06, but the DVD wasn't released until '08.
Carpe Noctem!
It can be had for fairly cheap, too; I bought my copy for $5.
What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!
