Any solid information on 'Other Side of the Wind'? Release date?

Guys, we're almost four months into 2006, and I haven't heard a damn thing about "The Other Side of the Wind." I'm starting to be pessimistic that it's going to happen this year.

It *sounds* like the legal issues may have been resolved, and certainly no can doubt Bogdanovich's desire to get this to the public. But does anybody have any factual information to speak of regarding if A) The editing has been completed or
B) A production company has been found to release it,
C) A release date has been set?

I know, I know, the answer to all these is "no" right now. But if anything changes, or if you've heard otherwise, post a response.

It looks like there's an answer to one of your questions. Here's the most recent interview excerpt from someone working on the project.

Box Office Mojo: Any plans to work with Peter Bogdanovich in the future?

Frank Marshall: Actually, we’re re-cutting and updating the John Ford documentary (Bogdanovich’s Directed by John Ford with narration by Orson Welles). We’ve done new interviews with Steven Spielberg, Clint Eastwood, Martin Scorsese, Walter Hill and others. It’s really exciting. It will air on Turner Classic Movies this October. Ford is so important to my history in the business. We’re also working with Showtime on finishing Orson Welles’ last movie, The Other Side of the Wind, which I worked on in the 1970s (as production manager). We have a script. We shot it all—I worked on it for over five years—but we never put it together. Showtime has been incredibly supportive. I’m producing what will be the final movie that Orson directed.

So no release date, and it still hasn't been edited. Fortunately Showtime is still backing the project despite all the legal hassles. I think eventually The Other Side Of The Wind will be released, but there's no telling when.
