So how much truth is there in that? Who submits the release dates to IMDB?

Yeah and it still doesn't answer my question: How much truth is there to a 2016 release date?

Right now, no truth to it. Sadly the film is still locked away in France and the people trying to finish it have no access to it because Oja Kodar has not signed the papers to release it to them. My guess would be that this now would be a very long shot for any sort of 2016 release. They have not touched the film so it still needs to be cataloged and edited. That will take considerable time and so we are at the stage that we would hope to see it in 2017.

Don't trust Kodar.
