All this greed for a film with limited appeal

Let's face it: this film, if ever gets finished, has a very limited audience. We all know and love Welles' great films but the general public doesn't give a rat's arse about Orson. He's been dead for decades and few under the age of 40 have even seen Kane. For all these parties to be fighting over the "massive money" this film will make is a joke. At best, this film gets a limited release and grosses $2 mil. It then lives on cable and online. That is the reality.

Do others often use the term "short-sighted" when referring to you?

This film will still be watched a hundred years from now because Welles was, is, and will be studied as one of the great American cinematic geniuses. Whereas most of the disposable crap that floods the multiplexes these days will be consigned to the trashbin of history.
