Not much of a curse

Elizabeth Holly put a curse on the baron, the incantation on the parchment was supposed to bring the baron back to life so he could suffer some more.

Well, that didn't exactly work. All Holly did was to give the baron the opportunity to come back to life, and enjoy life again as a rich man, living in his very own castle, and torturing and killing his victims. Not much of a curse if you ask me! And I'm also sure Holly did not anticipate that the baron could magically disguise himself as a wheelchair bound elderly gentleman with none of the scars apparent.

Instead of giving the baron a curse, she actually did him a favor!

Good point! I hope I get the same curse put on me.

reply

Yeah, the whole premise of the film is rediculous.

reply

well, he's really cursed because he has to suffer at the hands of the townspeople & idle gossip! 

I don't know how or why the baron was able, though, to magically morph into the wheel-chair bound Mr. Beeker, though.

I thought it was a great plot twist, but failed to explain how he was able to do that! 

It's not much of a curse and even less of a movie. The nonsensical plot serves as an excuse for the minimal scares and fake gore. 4/10 stars from me.

reply

it was far fetched.
