Don't Buy the VHS tape Recorded at EP Speed

A company called United American Video Corp. produced this tape recorded at EP speed. You know, inferior picture and sound, worst yet you will be spending time making tracking adjustments.

I've seen the film for sale, I think it may have been that company, or at least the Wizard Video that I would've considered picking up, it was Charles Band's company, he makes great movies.

Troma Entertainment just released this film on DVD with a cool wealth of special features. Besides the movie (which alas is presented fullscreen from a beat-up VHS source print), you also get a still and poster gallery, interviews with Paul Naschy and director/co-writer Jose Luis Merino, the theatrical trailer, and the spooky supernatural item "The Sweet Sound of Death" as an especially cool bonus feature. I purchased my copy for only seven bucks at a local alternative mom'n'pop music store.
