The movie is readily available as digital stream or download on Vudu, Google Play, and Youtube channel for Warner video on demand. Forget DVD and GO DIGITAL. The digital version of this movie is only $3 to rent and $10 to buy. If it were on DVD it would probably cost $20 like most of the Warner MOD DVDs and good luck finding a place that rents them.

The Release Info page on IMDb says One Is a Lonely Number was the original title, then it was changed to Two Is a Happy Number in the U.S.

Mag, Darling, you're being a bore.

I just finished watching this on TCM. Robert Osborne explained that MGM changed the title after initial poor box office returns because they felt that "One Is A Lonely Number" was possibly too depressing and kept moviegoers away. I don't remember if he said whether or not it did better with the happier()title.

I like the original title better. "Two... " is too forced/phony.

Robert Osborne explained after the movie that this didn't do well at the box office, so the studio thought the title One is a Lonely Number was too depressing and renamed it.

Osborne called Monte Markham Marty Markham!

I first saw this on network TV back in the late-seventies playing as One Is a Lonely Number. I've never seen it billed as Two Is a Happy Number at any time since, just by its original title. I think that IMDb needs to change it back to its original title.
