I was pleasantly surprised by this one. It's sleazy and exploitive for sure, but also very stylish and atmospheric. If you've enjoyed other retro European horror, this is probably for you.
Also, I believe QT named a section of Kill Bill after this movie as a tribute.
most imdb nerds who hate tarantino will call it a ripoff that he takes the title of this film but tarantino is like a preacher and movies are his God and it'd be like saying a real preacher rips off God by quoting scripture, it makes me so mad because QT is really only going to be fully realized, sadly, years after his death like fifty years from now when all is sad and done... he makes a ton of cash though and has all the freedom that others like Welles and Peckinpah didnt have, so that's a good thing at least... but it's so overrated to think that he's overrated, isn't it?
