I Think I Saw This

I think I saw this about that time. Chuck Connors played a character who had had one arm amputated and had fitted it with various sinister weapons. Could this be it? I would sure like to see it again.

Chuck Connors established himself very well as The Rifleman and later in Werewolf but he did a lot of other interesting roles. The studio system was coming to an end at that time and for awhile I have the impression that he was being groomed for a movie career. He was very good when he went mano-y-mano against Charleton Heston in Soylent Green and he also had a big part in The Big Country alongside Gregory Peck, Charleton Heston, and Burl Ives. I have to admit that today he would never have been cast as Geronimo but he did the best he could with that part, too. Good job Mr. Connors. Rest in peace.
