The last I read she was dying of a brain tumor and was trying to get released so she could die at home (?) or outside of prison anyway. So what happened with that?
shareI heard her compassionate release was denied. I saw a picture of her and she looked horrible. I would have given her compassionate release. She was obviously not a danger to anyone anymore and she was a human being.

As of this date she has still been denied. Prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi has come out in favor of her release, if for no other reason than to save the state the hundreds of thousands of dollars to provide medical care for her. Debra Tate (Sharon's sister) has come out against it.
