That's what I got when watching this movie!! Maybe there was no vampire, but we did have the devil... And then there was the 100 years in the past thing. I loved the story!! I had the unfortunate experience of seeing "The House of Exorcism" before this one. I am glad I gave "Lisa and the Devil" a chance!! It may be my favorite Bava film now....

shareThere doesn't have to be a vampire for it to be like Dark Shadows. The show had almost every type of supernatural evil you can think of; ghosts, witches, vampires, a Phoenix, werewolves, Leviathans, and even Frankenstein-like creatures called Adam and Eve, too. But I do agree it had a similar feel to the show which from me is the highest compliment. Even some of the music reminded me of it. I just love shows and movies with that Gothic, supernatural feel. I look forward to watching House of Exorcism tomorrow.
