I first saw this movie in a university film society
presentation.

When Judge Bean blows a whole clean through the middle
of Bad Bob, the entire audience--about 400 of us--broke
up and laughed for a solid five minutes.

They had to rewind five minutes of the movie right
after the shooting so we could hear the five minutes
we missed.

Judge Bean's leadership in this matter was right out
of the Art of War.

that whole scene is great. stacy keach is awesome (as was paul newman in this film) and then the capper is the big hole bean leaves in him. love it.

Albino BOB is both hilarious and horrifying. watch him stoned first.

Bean makes a good point about why he didn't owe Bob a fair fight. Every time I watch High Noon, I wonder why someone couldn't just take out Miller and his gang from a second-floor window.
