Was She Dying?

I just saw this on TCM a couple nights ago and I was wondering if I understood one point. Was she really dying of something or just telling the Count that to get him off of her?

Yes, seems she was.

In two scenes, she couldn't control her speech and in one scene, she couldn't hold on to some dishes. It looked like MS to me.

Yes, she tells Walter towards the end of the film, not very loudly but it was audible to me.
