I was taken to see a movie about bigfoot as a small child, the opening scence is just music playing, frogs croaking, and moving across water in the woods, I said to my mother when the frogs croaked, "I want to go home", everything scared me as a kid, I also remember a commercial with someone sitting in front of a window watching tv and a big furry arm comes thru the window and grabs them, is THIS the movie?? I would love to know, the commercial made me NEVER sit in front of a window with my back to it! Any help would be great. Thanks.

the movie You are remembering is indeed The Legend of Boggy Creek [1972] although the events you mentioned were spaced a bit further apart. :)

It actually did scare me just as much as when I was a kid! The way this movie was done was perfect, don't get me wrong, it is definitely not a big budget movie, but the way it was made even the way the sound is, makes this a super CREEPY movie! I sent the YouTube trailer to my mother, she got a big kick out of it as well! I can't believe it was rated G!! Glad I've finally been able to make it thru the whole thing.
