Are they any more 'real' biopics of Billie Holiday?

I've liked Lady Sings the Blues ever since I was a kid; however, after taking an Early Jazz history survey class at the University of New Orleans, ofcourse I know alot of it isn't true, and is more of a glammed up version of Billie's life.

I just wanted to know if there were any lesser produced biopics out there that were more accurate?

Truth being told a more gritty accurate account of the life of Lady Day, if handled by the right people could be a GREAT film. Sort of like Bird, which also was kind of an inaccurate account of Charlie Parker, with Forest and Clint directing. But it was more gritty.

There are no other "biopics" per se, but there are several good documentaries, and Ken Burns' "Jazz" series explores her life briefly.

Queen Latifah couldn't act her way out of a paper bag.

Latifah is actually a very good actor. But she's not right for Billie

She played Bessie Smith, someone more her size and stature.
