IMO Best of the six(spoilers)

If you haven't seen any of these films I highly recommend you find the time.

As hard as it is to give any of these movies the title of best of the series, I still like this one the best. I love every scene where you may not even notice he has drawn his sword, only that he seems to suddenly be returning it to the saya. A bit of an exaggeration, but its still impressive. I just love it, to me its part taking care of the sword and professionalism as a warrior. The sword should only to be out of the saya for as long it is needed. It also shows how masterful he is, not just how fluid his movement is, but also that he knows he no longer threatened and can return the sword.

Also Kanbei, the ronin from early on with the rapist mercenaries who returns at the end to get the duel he wanted. IMO the most badass character in the series, next to Ogami.

Then there's Tori, the leader of the Bohachimono, she's smart enough to realize Ogami is not to be *beep* with, but also doesn't take of advantage and kill him during the buri buri.

And the final battle is wonderful. I love the surprise of the guns in his cart and his cowboy moves against the leader. I wish they didn't take the guns in his cart further and further in later movies. In this film he fires one burst, later films he seems to have unlimted ammo. I know its a movie, but one burst is more realistic. And gives the gives the guns a different feeling. If he had limited ammo, or only one burst, then the application of the guns would be more strategic than a godlike weapon.

And then there's Daigoro playing a role in the hit of the guy(who died in the first film lol) with mad skills with his pistols. The lord's reaction, "he never went anywhere without his guns" it like damn Ogami figured out a way to separate him from his deadilest weapon. Then the reaction to the his second, best man's death, a sigle wound in the top of his head, just goes to show just what kind of enemy Ogami is to him. His next move is to lead an army against Ogami lol

Each movie has great scenes and stories, its really is hard to decide if any one is better than another, but I'm sure the 3rd film the best, at least in my opinion.

I have only watched the first 3, but this one is probably my favorite so far.

**** SPOILERS!!! **** SPOILERS!!! ****
I really liked that final battle scene. To have the high position is a great advantage and then he had riflemen, archers and horsemen. No way Ittō could have survived. Yet the final duel with Kanbei was a nice way to top it off. His head seemed to be smiling as it lay there.

I would rank Baby Cart on the Road to Hades my second-favorite of the series after Sword of Vengeance. The final battle is amazing, and the gore wasn't so plentiful as to turn me off (as in Baby Cart on the River Styx).

My rankings:

1. Sword of Vengeance
2. Baby Cart on the Road to Hades
3. Baby Cart in the Land of Demons
4. Baby Cart in Peril
5. White Heaven in Hell
6. Baby Cart on the River Styx

Je suis Charlie Hebdo.

I haven't finished the series yet, but this is my favourite one so far. It's so over the top and the last battle is great.
