one of those shinobi's against like 15 of those ninja women? come on...

In this film where the head shinobi meets up with the head ninja lady of the sub sect of the Yagu clan, he says he brought his shinobi's to aid her. What does she do? She asks him to bring forward his strongest worrior (Junai) and bids the worrior to try to leave the room. The scene that follows is where 15 women are against 1 shinobi. He tries to leave the room, but ends up slowly getting hacked to pieces. Then she pretty much responds that her clan doesn't need the help.

thats bull! 15 pms fueled women against 1 shinobi? No s*** the guy would die. The clan probably would have had a chance to kill Itto if the lead of the female ninja's agreed to team up with the shinobis.

Good point. That wasn't much of a demonstration of the gals' prowess.

A side note, though: ninja and shinobi are two different words for the same thing. In fact, I believe they were more commonly known as shinobi.

I guess she was demonstrating if their strongest warrior is no match for her team how could Lone wolf be...therefore stating she doesnt need any mere men to help her.

Yeah they probably would have stood a chance if they hadn't killed the "best" shinobi they had.
It was like two good teams are gonna team up, but first let us show you how good we are by hacking up your Michael Jordan.

I understand she was just trying to demonstrate how her team of lady ninjas can take out one really good fighter, but you cant help feeling maybe she could have thought of a better presentation.
And do you think that was really the "best" shinobi they had? That guy looked all stunned like "I'm not that good, Billy's better than me. Why don't you pick him?" Maybe the shinobi team leader picked that guy cause he didn't like him.
"You know Dave's been getting on my nerves with all this I'm the best shinobi around crap. if those lady ninjas need somebody to kill for a demonstration I'm picking him".
