A Lost gem of 70's cinema.

Probably the more underrated film from that golden 70's run in America cinema, far better then it's 6.6 rating too. It's the most underrated film in the Bob Rafelson/Jack Nicholson partnership. Considering the cast of Nicholson, Dern and Burstyn you expect it to be more well known. It's probably a bit to slow moving for some and it's pretty bleak. Nicholson and Dern are both excellent as brothers.Ellen Burstyn probably delivers one of her greatest performances, and Julia Ann Robinson (who sadly passed away three years after this film) is fantastic.
