Not Smarter Than A Fifth Grader

There must be a dozen US flags in "Joe Kidd", all of which have 50 stars!

The time period, when this movie was supposedly made, somehow slipped into a future time wrap.

warp?

The movie takes place in 1912. There were 46 states at the time. I imagine the flags in the movie are probably accurate. Easy to look like a 50 state flag, but when you consider how particular they were about the rifles, I don't think they'd have blew it with the flags.

If we all liked the same movie, there'd only be one movie!

The flags, when viewed on an HD TV, clearly have 46 stars. The 46 star flag was used from July 4,1908 (Oklahoma) through July 3, 1912 (AZ, NM acceeded the next day.). This would be appropriate for the early 1912 setting of the movie.

OP “44, 45, uh, 50! Yeah, 50 comes after 45.”

Y’learn this BEFORE the 5th grade, clod.
