Weird Opening....

Ok, so i saw a version of Fist of fury today on spike tv. Now when it began it did an american company, then the normal golden harvest opening, then in golden letters, it showed BRUCE LEE IN....then the weirdness began. After that in small blue letters showed the words In dyaliscope vision, that faded out and in the bottom right corner in red letters the words FIST OF FURY appeared. Then it showed the supporting cast in similar font with different colors on a black background. Now i find this weird because every other version of this movie i've seen has the cast shown with giant kanji letters in the background. Could someone please tell me which version of the movie this opening was for? Also with the opening played the original HK theme (which had the weird bruce lee ish chanting)

Well, this is just wrong. First of all, nothing can be 'giant' in a movie, as a movie happens on a screen, and screen sizes vary.

Second of all, KANJI? That's a japanese word depicting JAPANESE characters, but this is a CHINESE movie with CHINESE characters, and those are called 'Hanzi'.

They are often very similar, but not 100% identical - and even so, I don't see how kanji could've appeared in the opening credits of a chinese movie.
