I've just seen this film again on TV. The last time I saw it was about 15 years ago.
I remember a scene from the first time I saw it where Johnson is teaching Swan to say 'Yes', he gets her to nod her head and say 'Yes' and he then repeats it and shouts it out loud.
This scene wasn't on TV today and I don't remember nipping out for a cup of tea where I could have missed it.
Does anybody remember this scene?
Yes, it's in the movie, but sometimes movies are edited for time requirements when they show 'em on TV. Rent the video, you'll see it. My mom recorded a whole bunch of movies from TV, and that occurred with a lot of them.
She never edited the commercials, and a lot of them are really dated. But sometimes you get an Easter egg, like when she recorded "The Big Country" with Gregory Peck (a great movie), and somewhere in the middle there was a Jack in the Box commercial with John Corbett, the leading man in My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
