Boring
This one's a real snoozer. Vapid film in which barely anything happens but it's dragged out for 90 minutes. Definitely not one of Altman's best. Also, very predictable plot. Overwrought soundtrack.

"Predictable Plot?"
I have seen this film at least a dozen times since its cinema release in 1972, and I can find nothing 'predictable' about any part of it.
Disjointed? Yes.
Unnerving? Yes.
Strangely moving? Yes.
You must remember that the tale is about a psychologically unbalanced woman, and her 'hallucinations' are real...to her, at least.
But, as for 'predictable plot', I must agree to disagree.
