Flaming Painting?

Before Susan Jameson takes the drug she is seated and looks at a painting on the wall. The painting seems to have a line of fire burning through it. Is this ever explained or did I just remember it wrongly, maybe a reflection or something?

It's a reflection of the fireplace. The shot started at the fireplace and slowly panned the room, passing that picture on the way.
