Is this the film I saw in 1974?

While in the Army in 1974, I saw a film which starred Jean-Paul Belmondo. I only remember three other "facts" about the film:

1. A great soundtrack
2. It was a contemporary film
3. Jean-Paul & a male friend, remove some of their business clothing to play soccer in a city (Paris?) park, and splash on cologne after the game and before they get dressed again.

Is this that film and if it isn't, which Belmondo film did I see?

TIA.

Hi Barubin,

You're quite right. I'm not 100% sure for the music. Soundtracks of Ennio Morricone are much more better (Le professionnel, Peur sur la ville, or even The good the bad and the ugly).
The town is Paris (of course). But Jean-Paul and his friend (Charles Denner) are just running around a soccer stadium and then splash with fragrance which seems to be 'Royal Lyme'

Hope this reminds you good memories,
Dr. Doud

Thanks for the confirmation. I agree that Ennio Morricone composes great soundtracks.

Did you see this film recently, you own a copy of it, or do you have an incredible memory?

BTW, the composer, Michel Colombier, has just recently released:

L’Héritier (the CD done for Philippe Labro) was released in June by Universal France (#038 435-2) . It includes scores from for the films l’Héritier, Le hasard et la violence and l’Alpagueur. [One of the tracks from this CD: 'Cordes en colère', is heard as one of the background audio files on this page.]

I'm quite proud of my memory. But I have to confese that I check the jogging scene with my DVD!!! That's why I'm so precise with the "Royal Lime" stuff ;-)

Regarding this movie, I'm 100% sure that it is from 1972 and NOT 1973. I was unable to request for an update/change with the site correct that...

Thanks for the website ;-)

I didn't know, and neither does the us.imdb, that there is a DVD of the film. What label is it on?

I don't know when it was released, but I am VERY sure when and where I saw it. What/when does your DVD give as the copyright date?

Your welcome for the URL to the composer's web site. I found it very ironic that he announced only a few weeks before I found his site that he was releasing a CD with music from the film.
