where did Stacey and his guys get bullets?

When they are let out of jail the warden throws their guns to them and says they're not loaded. So they had no bullets. Then they rum up on those guys camping to steal horsea and start shooting at them. Where did they get bullets?

There's a deleted scene where they stop in at Rick O'Shay's House of Munitions where they purchase rounds that are not only reasonably priced, but make ricochet sounds with every shot fired!
